Comments: Kinlay House is nestled among the knotwork of tiny streets covering the hills on the north side of Cork city. It’s a five minute downhill walk to the centre of Cork city.
Wifey and I stayed here twice during Kerbside‘s Irish tour last year and found the place to be affordable, hospitable and centrally located. The staff was quite friendly and more than accommodating with our musical gear – they even took our guitars behind the front counter for safekeeping. Cavernous and popular, this is a handy and affordable place to hang your hat for a few nights. The breakfast is all you can eat of tea and toast, but you gotta be up before 9.30am or you’ll be fending for yourself.
